What are SUAVS made of?
Beginning in 2020, SUAVS made it a mission to go green. All SUAVS uppers are made with 100% recycled materials made from post-consumer plastics. Additionally, SUAVS is committed to further expanding sustainable practices which currently include:
Sustainable production using digital knitting to reduce material waste during manufacturing.
100% vegan materials, even down to the glue used.
Donating all unsold SUAVS footwear to organizations such as Soles4Souls and LifeWorks.
SUAVS’ shoe boxes are dual purpose as they function as the initial shipping box and return packaging.
SUAVS removable insoles are made with a sweat-wicking, breathable foam and can be washed and replaced.
SUAVS outsoles are made with a super flexible low-density rubber, allowing for maximum foot mobility.
How long do SUAVS take to break in?
SUAVS are designed to be ultra soft and flexible, therefore can be worn comfortably straight out of the box and need no break-in period.
Are SUAVS zero drop / minimalist shoes?
SUAVS shoes have a variety of sole drops and some can be considered minimalist. For more information regarding the specific shoe model, please refer to the details on the product page.
Do SUAVS fit wide feet?
SUAVS are made with flexible fabric which adjusts to any foot from narrow to wide. The fabric will shrink back to its original shape after each wash, much like jeans! Additionally, The Legacy high tops, The 247 and Classic Sneakers are designed with a wider toe box for extra wiggle space.
Are they slip-on?
Most SUAVS styles come with laces. However, because of their stretchy materials, they are also considered slip-on shoes because there is no need to tie and untie them every time you wear them.
Do they have arch support?
SUAVS come with a breathable, washable full support insole. If you need to use specialized orthotics with more support, the good news is SUAVS insoles are 100% removable and can be replaced with your own!
Full sizes? Should I size up or down?
SUAVS fit true to size. If you are unsure and typically size down in other footwear, we recommend sizing down. If you size up in other footwear, we recommend going a size up.

Are SUAVS considered "non-slip" shoes?
SUAVS are very grippy and work great on all types of floors. However, they are not certified as restaurant or oil grade anti-slip shoes.
Are SUAVS Vegan Friendly?
Yes! We've made it a mission to be 100% Vegan friendly and do not use any animal derived products or materials in our footwear.

The Zilker is my favorite Suavs style. The other collections are nice, but they can’t beat the Zilker for both comfort and style. My only complaint is that they are not always available in my size. I have been waiting forever, for a size 6 in a cream or beige color. Other, look-alike brands don’t compare.

These shoes are the best! They are as comfortable as wearing a pair of socks. .You can wear them all day without any foot pain. I put them in the washer and they came out like new. I’m about to order another pair and maybe more after that!

The most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They slip on like socks, but can be worn like any other shoe. I didn't have to sell a kidney to afford them either!
