Cleaning Your Suavs

The following tips are our recommendations on how to clean your SUAVS, however you can choose to do so in any way you prefer.

Remember to be gentle when cleaning your SUAVS, as they are made with the softest materials to keep your feet comfy.

Just The Insoles

Some SUAVS Shoes come with breathable, sweat-wicking and removable insoles, which allow you to wear your shoes with or without socks.  However, these features will not prevent your insoles from getting dirty or stinky with time.  You should treat your SUAVS insoles as you would a regular pair of socks and wash regularly.

1. Take the removable insoles out of your shoes.

2. Wash with warm water and soap.

3. Air dry or if using a dryer, use cool or low heat.

Regular Wash

1. Take your SUAVS insoles out by slipping them out of your shoes and remove any excess dirt by using a soft-bristled brush (such as an old toothbrush).

2. Mix water with dish soap to create an all purpose cleaner. For White Suavs: 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide can be added.

3. Apply a small amount of the all purpose mixture onto a microfiber cloth or a soft brush and clean the affected areas.

4. Air dry your shoes and insoles separately, preferably outside in the sun or in a well ventilated spot indoors.

If your adventures have taken you into too many unforgettable places, you can repeat these steps to help remove those set-in stains.

Machine Wash

1. Remove the insoles from your shoes.

2. Brush off any dirt your shoes may have and place your shoes inside a zip-up garment washing mesh bag.  Your insoles can go in separately.

3. Wash with the rest of your laundry.

4. Air dry your shoes and insoles separately, preferably outside in the sun or in a well ventilated spot indoors.

5. Once dry, place your insoles back inside your SUAVS shoes.
